Children Are NOT Money Makers for the Government!!!!!

My family came to Berks County hundreds of years ago. My ancestor was a Hessian soldier. He was forced to fight for the British to pay a debt that they Hessian king owed. He was captured and spent time in a POW camp in Reading. After the war, the king didn't want a lot of his people back.

They were good enough to fight and to pay off his debts, but they were well, in the words of one poster here "low class". My ancestor started over without anything in Berks County PA. He fell in love with a German girl and the rest is history as they say.

And now, our county, located in a "free" country is selling it's most precious resources in order to make money to build it's coffers. Families are being destroyed. Children's lives are being ruined and no one in authority seems to care as long as they get their paycheck.

This is wrong and it needs to stop. NOW! The commissioners NEED to stop the human trafficking that goes on in Berks County. Children belong with their parents or their kin when this is not possible.

Law abiding tax payers who are good parents should NOT have to live in fear in America of all places what will happen when CYS comes knocking at their door.

LIKEWISE, BAD parents who have the money and the right connections should not be shielded from the law. CYS shouldn't play favorites. They should follow the law--as should others in the system.
