Actually, in Berks County, they don't ignore it. Most of the time, they try to make money off the problem by getting CYS involved, putting the people who speak out in jail, on drugs, or just calling them crazy and making the problem worse. But hey, they are making money, right? Who cares about abused kids and people anyway? It's money that makes Berks County go 'round.
