Time Square Turned Purple And BCCYS Corruption Was There

New York City is just a short 2 hour trip from Berks County via Bieber Bus. On October 7th, several group members took the bus into the city. This wasn't to go on a shopping trip or for sight seeing. These ladies and gentlemen were present to see Times Square turn purple--and they took their FU Berks Signs with them. The Stop Abuse Campaign was able to partner with  New York when Manhattan Borough President Scott M. Stringer for this public awareness campaign.

At 6:30pm on October 7th, he flicked the switch and time square turned purple. Purple is the color for domestic violence awareness.

"The powers that be in Berks County have made it known that our opinions are not welcome. They don't care what is happening to our families and to our kids. That's okay. We'll share our opinions about what is going on in Berks County elsewhere."

And they have. Members have been to Washington DC and to New York City to protest this week alone.
